Roy Nelson is the founding member of Nelson Professional Group LLC and has practiced as a Certified Public Accountant since 2003. He has extensive experience in tax planning and preparation, business consulting, and real estate investment strategy — including the tax implications of various investment structures. Roy has served individual and business clients across a wide range of industries, including medical, dental, chiropractic, legal, engineering, insurance, software, and real estate investment.
Roy earned his Bachelor of Science and Master of Accountancy (Taxation emphasis) from Brigham Young University’s Marriott School of Management and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
Outside the office, Roy enjoys spending time with his wife and three children and cheering on the BYU Cougars in football and basketball. He also plays pick-up basketball several mornings a week — those who’ve seen him play enjoy a good laugh.
